I will praise You, LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. Psalm 108: 3 (HCSB)
Why will David praise God here in Psalm 108? David is thankful to God. He recognizes God’s great love and mercy. He recognizes God’s involvement in his life.
Later on in Psalm 108 David shows his faith, his trust and reliance on God and knows that God will give him victory over his enemies. He realizes that his armies and men won’t bring him victory but God can and will bring victory.
I urge you to trust and rely on God. Whatever troubles you are facing, hand them over to God, just like David did. Give thanks to God for whatever you have because it can always be worse. He will relieve your troubles and your burdens. He will give you victory.
Preparing for the soon return of Jesus Christ, praise our Lord,
