We were separated from God in the garden of Eden when our parents, Adam and Eve first disobeyed God. Though God hates sin he loves the sinner and did not wish to be separated from us.
He had a plan in Jesus Christ to reconcile us with Him yet to be just and administer the penalty for sin. Jesus paid the price in his death for my sin and for your sin. If we have faith in Jesus and we follow him then we are reconciled to God and appear perfectly righteous in God’s eyes because we are clothed in Jesus’ perfect garment of righteousness. Thank God for Jesus.
