In 2nd Timothy 3: 16 we find a reminder of what the Bible is. Paul reminds us that the Bible comes from God. He created and designed us and He knows what is best for us. We gain in wisdom by reading the Bible, we can overcome sin and bad habits by applying in our lives the things that we learn from God’s word, we can grow spiritually in Christ and our faith in Him can be strengthened. Those are just a few of the things that can happen by reading the Bible.
It really is a manual for our lives given to us by the God who loves us very dearly. Though it may be difficult at times, please aim to follow God’s instruction to you by reading His words in the Bible. I know from personal experience that you will see a great amount of benefit from doing so.
